Default 1966 Mustang 2+2 GT

Year: 1966
Make: Ford
Model: Mustang
Price: $28500
Mileage: 92000
Color: Ivy Green
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State/Prov): MA

Ivy Green with black gut and styled steel wheels.
Utterly rust free. Primarily an original car.

A code 289 with unknown internals. I didn't build it. Runs super smooth and sweet. What I do know about it is that it has the following:
Double valve springs, windage tray, internally reworked properly coded and tagged Autolite 4100, and a Shelby dual point distributor with Petronix II installed.
Stainless steel full length Hedman headers.
Bigblock toploader with correct input shaft.
Zoom competition clutch hooked through a Shelby Style short throw linkage equipped with heim joints at the pivot points.
Console with Hurst competition shifter.
Eight inch rear has been updated to a stronger '67 carrier and houses a 3.25 tracloc (posi) setup.
Traction Master brand under-riding traction bars.
Shelby lowering springs front and rear. Rear springs have poly bushings and heavy duty shackles. Arning Drop completed.
1 and 1/8 inch front swaybar with poly bushings.
Perfectly fitted Monte Carlo bar. I cut and welded it in place, working the brackets to lay flat against the complex angles of the shock towers, and used factory fender bolts to secure it. It looks factory.
KBY Gas adjust shocks.
The steering geometry has been modified with the quick steer kit. (a longer Pitman arm and a longer idler arm, both of which use bearings instead of bushings.)
Dual bowl Master cylinder with adjusting valve.
SSBC front calipers with slotted rotors and Red Stuff pads.
Updated relay operated halogen glass headlamps and LED tail lights.
600 amp Pioneer stereo with four Rockford Fosgate speakers. The Head unit is a DIN size, it charges an Ipod and has bluetooth.

This is a really sharp car, it has a few chips and scratches in the paint, but overall the paint is fantastic. Whoever laid it on really knew his trade.
The interior is exceptional except for slight wear of the drivers seat. Duh.
All gauges work and show in the proper range. There is a Sun tach on the steering column.
I'm listing this car here only to see if there's any interest among the real mustang crowd. I'm not even sure I want to sell it... I've had it for almost six years but maybe it's time for someone else to enjoy this car and time for me to play with something else.
I'll attach pictures when I can.
It's a nice, sweet, tight Mustang.
