Hello,
I know your E Bay ad makes mention of the car passing emissions anywhere....do you have a photo of the emissions tag?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike.
I must admit, I'm not too familiar with emissions in other states because there is no testing in Oklahoma. But I just ASSUMED it would pass anywhere since the exhaust and cats are still stock. is that a correct assumption? If not, I"ll remove that statement.

"50 State Emissions"
http://www.edmunds.com/ford/shelby-g...est-specs.html
So since I didn't change the exhaust system, I assume it will pass ok.

Well, actually, since the car has over 7500 miles on it, it would come into California as a used car, and as such, only has to pass the emissions stated on the car, even if it is not 50 state emissions. Just curious on the tag on the car.
Also, can you tell me on your Lund tune or tunes, what octane tunes do you have? California only has up to 91 Octane available......
Thx,
Mike

The Lund tune is for 91 octane. Did you see my dyno chart... 633 RWHP. If you go full throttle at 4000 RPM, you can scratch the tires rolling in 3rd gear.
So the tuner has stock tune, and lund tune on it.
Would this be for every day driving or racing or both? I have one potential add on...and that is a brand new 3.15 rear end. new in box. I never got it installed. Putting the 3.15 in will make your final drive nearly the same as the 2013, which actually would be a better balance of power to the ground. It has 3.73's in it right now.

It's my daily driver too. I kept stock exhaust so it would not be loud or annoying, plus it just sounds great already.
The stereo is great. Extremely clean sound. I don't know if you are into high end car stereos but the power matches that of the car itself. You can turn it way up but it does not hurt your ears. Has a high end JL amp for the highs, and a memphis amp for the single subwoofer. C5 3-way speakers in the doors.
By the way, when I bought the car I had it shipped from MA using "Intercity". It was a bit more expensive for a closed transport, but same company Jay Leno uses. Very good. You can get cheaper transports for probably half price (or just fly up and drive back).
Well let me know if you have more questions, need more pics, whatever. FYI, if you put the 3.15 rear end in, it will also increase your gas mileage. 1st gear raps up really fast with the 3.73's and that is why I got the 3.15's for daily driving. The TVS will still spin the tires no problem at that ratio.

Thanks a ton for the additional info. While I am not hugely into high end stereo, it would not hurt my feelings...LOL.....
Another question on the TVS blower. Does it have a tag on it showing that it is CARB legal? I hate all the California BS, but it is what it is. I have had my 05 smogged twice, and both times they are very touchy about the CARB tag on the Vortech blower.....
As far as the gearing, I hear what you are saying. My 05 has 4.10's with the Vortech, so it pretty much defines "fast wind-up"........it hits boost just about the time you let the clutch go....LOL.....
Thanks again,
Mike

I don't know if anything is on the blower itself, but this website says 50 states emissions legal
http://www.bangastang.com/_e/Superch...rger_07_09.htm
The year is different, but the blower is identical.
