1979 Dodge w100 4x4 General Lee w/ Nitrous for sale
I need to sell my General Lee Truck $6500 obo and I mean it, best reasonable offer will take it. http://midwesthotrods.us/modules/gal...hp?category=20
The truck:
1979 Dodge w100 4x4
General Lee paint style with 01, crossed flags and rebel flag - 10 foot rule - not a pro job but looks good
12 note Dixie horn
Black, orange and silver interior.
Nitrous ZEX Perimeter 100-300 hp boost (new in box)
New Steering rag joint
New steering connecting rod from Jegs
(see both here)
Holley 750 (I think if I remember right) 4bbl carb manual choke
New cruise control
New delay wipers
New molded carpet (black)
Dual steering stabilizers (painted to match truck)
Brake systems painted to match truck
New shocks on all four wheels - painted to match truck
Rebuilt 360 engine (<10K miles)
Competition cam
Performer intake
New aftermarket electronic ignition module
New distributor
New plugs and wires
New multi-spark coil
Performance headers
New aluminum exhaust
New dual mufflers
Tires in great shape, 31" all terrain
Some rust on fenders
CB Radio
Sony stereo and speakers
TACH
Garmin GPS comes with it
I think I've listed everything...
I've done a LOT of work to this truck and hate to sell it but I just got this supercharged mustang and want to put some cash into that. I might make a fake Eleanor for fun but can't do that while I have my "general lee". If I could afford the gas for my long commute I'd drive this daily. It's a great running truck with no issues. Shifts great, starts great (cold blooded of course), drives great though it has some play in the steering. I think the jegs steering parts will help that. Nice upgrade even if not.

That has to be on of the ugliest trucks I have ever seen. Not only that but the flag painted on the hood looks very "hick" ish

AHH, you guys are brutal. That's ok, I can take it. I actually did the truck like this as a joke. I'm not a hick or a redneck.. not that there's anything wrong with either! lol Gotta be politically correct y'know. Anyway, yah the truck is a tribute to the real General Lee and the guys in the star cars club like the truck and some of them have generals so that's ok by me. You're all welcome to your opinions of course, but if you're just trying to make me feel bad you'll have to keep trying. I'm not so immature as to take offense to a flippant comment by an anonymous internet cruiser. TWO flippant comments though... hmmm lol

I just found the truck to be somewhat shocking and up here in IL would most likely be vandalized but down in the south is most likely a different story

Yah, I understand.... I'm in Iowa though and haven't had a single negative comment. As a matter of fact, every single time I take it out I have at least one carload of college kids snap a photo of it. I'm in Iowa... so same yankee upbrining.

Yea in the south it is praised but in the north I guarantee it would be vandalized. Its just the way it is, dont bring that truck to the north unless you plan on collecting the insurance on it
