g/f bought a 96 3.8
not to bad of a car. no pix. 120,000 miles. antifreeze was gross, flushed it out. changed the oil, new belt.
gonna do spark plugs, wires, and a fuel filter friday or saturday.
head gaskets are fine, looks like they were replaced under the "program"
my question is, how do i drain and fill the rear diff..?????????
i see no fill plug [

otherwise, very little rust, needs new struts and springs all around, and slight problem with the a/c. but i think it just needs recharged (psi = ambeint temp whencold)

[sm=welcomesign.gif] Your right there is no drain plug the easy way is to remove the cover plate to drain, don't forget to get a new gasket. And the fill hole is on the right looking forward half way from the diff and tire.

oooo. thanks. i knew that i would take the diff cover off. but when i wnet to the ford dealer to get the fluid, i asked for teh gasket for the dif. cover, but... the parts manager said that it odesn't have one.
