Default Going Price for a 2000 mustang

I spent the day pricing 99-2003 mustangs in my area. So far only one stang a 2000 with 71,000 miles has caught my eye, but I'm thinking 8495.00 is a bit much for this particular model. I guess I should mention the car looks great, but would I be paying too much??? Any advice greatly appreciated.

I think so.

I got my 01 with 70K miles on it for $7,500..

Thats just my two cents though.

welcome to the forums, welcome to the forums, and yes that seems like a bit high, and if you have around that much money to spend i strongly recomend that you find a convertible

If you're looking at a GT, you're going to pay more. If you're looking at a v6, then that is ENTIRELY too high.

The mileage, engine, and such will determine the price you find. Also, a coupe will be cheaper than a 'vert.

Best of luck on the search.

go to www.kbb.com or www.edmunds.com
They will give you a rough idea of what you'd expect to pay for your area based on the condition.
