HI, I have a 88 mustang V8 that I picked up for $800 off a kid I work with, it have alittle body work to be done, but I can handle that.

I do have a problem with the tranny that is in it right now, its a RUG-CL, I have been looking it up and it seems to be a older one out of a linclon or ecololine van, it works ok, but the shifter is on the side and someone hacked the sheetmetal in the floor to make room for it!!

I don't know if this is a good tranny or if I would be better getting a T-5 or something, I know I hate the off set shifter
