Hey my name is Kenneth. I live in Lancaster, California for manily my whole life.. I'm 22 I'll be 23 in November, and like most people on this forum I'm a gear head but without the funds to do anything crazy.. I've been going to out local college for a couple years taking things like engine building, welding and electronic engineering classes..I'm totally into drag racing and working on cars, I have a 92' 3000gt vr4 -twinturbo- which is bpu+ more at the moment.. But the car has been down more then on the road which tells me it's time for something else..
Unfortunately I dont have a mustang yet, I'm leaning twards a 96-98' Cobra since they have a solid axle I would assume it would be better for drag.. I would think about the newer Cobras 99+ but I only have 10k to play with.
Well I hope I learn new things on this site and actually become a REAL! mustang owner.. Thanks Kenneth K.

Welcome aboard man!
Yes, you guessed it, the 99+ cobras have IRS, not good for drag racing. However, the 03-04 cobras have forged rotating assemblies and come with an Eaton Supercharger. (390hp stock). But they're $25k+ at the moment. If you're looking for big power in the future, a cobra is your best choice (4v vs 2v in the GT).
