Hi everyone. Found the forums and decided to join. I'm from Montana and have owned 4 mustangs and 1 capri. I started out with an 81 2.3 4spd for my 1st mustang. Then there was the 85 capri 5.0 RS 5spd, my 1st 5.0 experience but not my last, and then an 86 GT 5spd. That one I dropped in a 351 that I built after owning it for about a year, it was about a 350 horse engine, fun, fun, fun. And then I had a 91 LX 5.0 coupe, it unfortunately got hit by adrunk driver about a year ago. I've now got a 85 LX 2.3 coupe that is my project car. I'm dropping in the 5.0 from the 91 with the fuel injection, upgrading the suspension with new KYB shocks, Maxspeed springs(never heard of them before now but for $85 cheap enough to find out if any good, lol), MAC caster/camber plates and rear control arms, Energy Suspension poly bushings and all the mods from the 91. CAI, full 2.5" exhuast, 3.55 geared 8.8, underdrive pulleys and subframe connecters. I'm right in the middle of this conversion, installing the efi harness currently, and hope to have it going before summer. So if you made this far you know all about my mustang's and I hope to enjoy this forum and everyone elses mustang's.

glad to have you join us. I just recently joined myself and have found things very entertaining and informative. isn't Montana where you can drive flat out on the highways during the daytime or something like that? I'm from Virginia and the east coast is just too overdeveloped to allow something like that! Speeding tickets are just too easy a revenue source for the State to pass up! Welcome again and have fun!

We used to have what they called Safe and Prudent for a speed limit, which pretty much meant the cops picked the speed they felt was appropriate for the weather. Then everybody who came through the state drove 120 and got stopped or wrecked so we now have a 75 mph speed limit, but on nice days they leave you alone if you keep it to only 80. Lots of wideopen space and it's crowded if you have more then 10 cars in mile of interstate
