Newbie with 99 Cobra - What to look out for?
Hey all!
Just bought my first Cobra! (Finally) It's a '99 vert, and I love it. I've been a mech for over 20 year, but thought I'd ask those of you in the know, what I should look out for on the '99s. It has 59k miles and everything looks great so far but I plan on going over it a little closer next weekend!

yeah i think it was in 99 that there was a pretty large recall on the engine because it was robbing hp or something. I don't know anything more so your going to have to call the guy you bought it from or the dealer.

Welcome!! There were some power issues with the 99 cobras... that's why there was no 2000 cobra, but I don't know exactly what to look for on that.
You may want to ask some of the owners that post in the SVT tech section here-- there are quite a few 99 owners actually.
