Default Finally Got Her

Hello all,
This is my first post. I just recently got my 2004 mustang. It has a magnaflow dual exhaust system on it. Right now it has a warrenty on it saying I get free oil changes, car washes for life. Also if anything goes wrong with engine they repair it for free. Now the problem is if i do anything to the engine the warrenty gets voided. But i found Ford Racing makes products for the car. If i get anything from there and put it on the engine will it still void it or would they not say anything because it is from ford. If not is there anything i can do to the car?

You would have to inquire your warranty company or the dealer... most of the time any aftermarket part voids it.

Welcome to the forums though!

Its possible that if you have them install it they would be cool with it...check into it...and welcome!

yeah you can probably save the warranty if you buy it from them and have them install it. But, in that case your going to be paying double for everything so you might as well void the warranty and when ever you need anything done just try to take it to the dealer. I know i live in Wisconsin and the dealership has to prove to me that my aftermarket part that i put on is the cause of that specific problem.
But welcome to the forums.

welcome to the forums

by federal law, a aftermarket part must be the cause to have caused the warrenty issue, so if you add 4.10s and your O2 sensors go, they are still gonna replace it, you may have to argue with the dealer a bit, but they must honor it
