Default Newb not to mustangs but to modding them....

I recently purchased a 95 gt mustang. It is black on black 5spd with leather seats and 95,000 on the clock. I am in Guam and am having problems finding out info about modding my car. The car is modded a little already and came with gobs of extra performance stuff. The mechanical part of modding is not what is scaring me its the technical stuff. I am sure I will enjoy my stay here on the forums and hope to get lots of great info from all of you. Thank you Jeremiah

Installed
BBK cold air intake
BBK H pipe
BBK Shorty headers
PRO-M 75mm MAF calibrated for 24lb injectors
FMS 4.10 Gears

Parts not yet installed but will be
BBK long tube headers
BBK offroad X pipe
BBK underdrive pulleys
GT40 ported intake upper and lower
BBK 70mm throttle body
MSD 6A ignition module

With these parts installed do you think i really need 24lb injectors??? The car does not have them installed and it did not come with them either. Would it be better just to recal or order up a new MAF?? I do not plan to do much else to the car until I get back to the states. Thank you Jeremiah

So all the parts not installed came with the car? I hope you didnt pay over $6,000 for the car though, thats about as high as they should be, and with 95,000 miles, I wouldnt have paid more than $5,000 for it. Not trying to bring you down or anything, but the 5.0's from 94-95 arent that quick, you could have got a nice fox body for cheaper. Anyways, I would keep the 24lb injectors and get a handheld tuner for the mods you have. And be sure that the new x-pipe you have is the short version, that away the LT headers will fit.

I paid 4000 for the car with all the goodies. So order a set of 24 lb injectors for the car??? Will I need to get a chip made for the car??? Also will I need to get a new Pressure regulator for the new injectors? Should I do anything with the fuel pump? This car is temporary and I would much rather have a Fox body but I can only get what I can find in Guam. Yeah I knew to order up the correct X pipe. The only thing the car didnt come with is the 24lb injectors and the x pipe for the long tube headers. I am afraid the car is running way lean with the MAF that is in it now running the stock 19lb injectors.

Get the 24lb injectors and a diablosport handheld tuner. Try and get your A/F ratio better than what it is now. And $4,000 is a good price for what the car is.
