Just drove my new baby home!
Came into Orlando tonight after 900 miles picking up my GT in Houston. Its been an interesting trip. I did have a nice run up to about 100 miles an hour in 4th in Alabama after about 400 miles but I really want to break it in a little more. I had the oil changed at 500 miles because I've heard they cant get all the casting sand out of the block and it will end up in the oil. The car sticks to the road well ( as long as its relatively flat) And is fun to run through the gears. It has a Magnaflow Cat-back system which sounds great! Love it!

Beautiful... I love red. Was it used, and somebody tricked it out, or did the dealer do all the mods and sold it as new? Are those 20" wheels?
Duh... I just saw the sticker... what did you have to pay extra for all the add-ons?

Thanks much. It was all installed by the dealer, lowered etc. Its all Ford paint done by Ford body shop so its Ford Spec and paint is covered by the dealer regarding the work performed. The wheels are Foose 20x8.5 front I believe and 20x10 rear with Nitto Extreme tires I got the mods final price was 7500 just as it sits bodywork, wheels/tires, lowered, hood, front end, magnaflow cat back exhaust, etc. I would never have had the time to get it together myself. I have been building jeeps for years ( my handle on most of the jeep forums is 5 speed due to the fact I had a built 93 Grand with a factory 5 speed in it) but my current jeep has been over as a project for about 8 months or so because I dont have the time.
Also, they had a radio mix up at the dealer and my car had a base headunit in it instead of a shaker unit. While the swapped it out of another car, I went back to a corner of the service wing and there were two GTs in, a Heritage edition (blue and orange with numbers on the doors, etc) and a white one. The Heritage had the rear hood area completely removed. The blower pulley looks like about an inch away from the rear plexiglass window and the rear substructure that ties in the frame is forged aluminum and massive! Massive looking rear coilovers in the rear. And looking down over the tires, they are so wide they look like about a foot and a half wide. The wheels could be 14" wide. The guy had the wheel centers painted orange to match the orange stripe on the car. They were putting some kind of exhaust on it. The other one had a new set of wheels with tires mounted waiting to be put on. The car was on the lift and the bottom over the car is completely sealed up and flat across the bottom. The tires were off so I could get a good look at the brakes and coilovers. The cars are simply bad -a**.
