Hey, newish member, new car!
Alright, I registered in early May, but never gave an introductory posting, so here goes... I am on my second Mustang, a 2003 GT in silver with the dreaded automatic, and black leather. My previous Stang was a 5-speed 1998 GT in a very beautiful green, with cloth seats. That car was mine from June 2002 until last Thursday. I drove her for 50,000 incredible miles, and actually cried when I gave her away! She was lightly modified with a MAC CAI, Accufab 75mm TB, and C+L plenum. Of course, the stereo was completely aftermarket as well.
The new car has the Mach 460 system, which is good, but still needs a subwoofer, anyone here know how to add one? I plan on adding Steeda pulleys, a CAI or Mass Air kit, I'm not sure which is better, but either way the choices would be C+L or MAC. Other mods will include Accufab plenum and TB, catback (I'm not sure what brand, but it will be stainless), and a chip or tuner. Again, with these I'm not sure which is better. I was thinking about gears, but since I drive the car in Wisconsin's notorious winters, I don't think their benefits would help me during the ****ty season! If anyone has any suggestions about the future mods I've listed here, don't hesitate to let me know! Also does anyone know if there is a kit to "improve" the automatic tranny? Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for the help!
