Hey there i just got me a 1984 5.0 five speed with t-tops for 800 dollars.. engine is there so is tranny interior is okay.. tops are perfect.. one door has a dent.. but all in all it shouldnt be too bad to fix.. the starter is locked up.. but eh its been sitting since the guy went to prison.. it was running when parked but someone had started pulling parts off of it... sucks.. they also cut my wiring harness.. and i am having a pain in the @ss trying to get her to turn on over... plus the break fluid turned into a solid!!! my local mechanic wants me to go ahead and bring him the car... So do you guys think i did really bad for 800 dollars?? i mean i saw this car run 5 years or less ago... i wanted it back then but it took me this long to get the thing!!! its black with red interior.. oh hey i need a new driver side seat.. anyone know of a good place to get one my junkyard doesnt have one.. i might get lucky i picked up a junked out body for 150 dollars... but the guy wont call me back!!! its another complete 84 mustang just missing the interior parts.. has another engine and all. so are the 84 t-tops rare? or did i just waste my money.
