Introducing from warm, sunny Maine........
Just dropping a post to introduce myself to the forum. Recently picked up a 03 Cobra about a month ago and thought that I would join the seasoned veterans of mustangs. Well to start off, I'm in the Navy stationed up in Brunswick Me, been here for about 4 years now. I had a 99 GT until I thought it was time for an upgrade. Picked me up a Cobra from New Hampshire for way under KBB and Edmunds. It was too good a deal to let slide.

90mm throttle
3.1 pulley
Superchip
Bassanni Headers
H pipe
No cats, straight 3 inch duel exhaust (saleen side by side)
Full Saleen body kit, (front fascia, rear rascia, spoiler and hood)
Hurst shorty shifter
Full tint
Paid $17,600 out the door!!!! Was on E-Bay.....for about 2 seconds. Called up the guy and had the car 3 days later. Was apprehensive about buying her though. Seller told me she was putting 480WHP and 520Ft/Lbs so, the first thing that I did was get her dynoed and, sure enough 480/520! Perfect tune a little rich around 5800-6100RPM's but, you can't win them all. I'm gonna be posting pictures of her soon. It's a little weird having a Cobra that looks EXACTLY like a Saleen. In the past month I couldn't tell you how many times I have been followed or stopped to ask about the car, absolutely unbelievable!
Anyway, Im a ford guy and will allways be a ford guy as long as the Mustang is around. Look forward to chatting with you guys. Damn, do I hate that IRS and its wheel hop! Gonna correct that though, ha ha ha.
