What's up people?
New guy here. Just thought I would give a quick wassup to you mustang people. I just purchased a 94 Cobra, have owned a 90GT in the past. Found your forum and hope to be able to contibute as well as get some questions answered. I will be adding photos and such to my profile. I live in Austin, Tx, use my cobra for a daily driver. I am trying to keep it as close to Cobra vintage as possible. My red dragon has been rebuilt and is now a 306, she has head work done, off-road h pipe, flow's. The guy I bought it from said it has 3.73, but I dont believe him, she pulls 2nd up to 60mph, so I think she has the cobra 3.08 gears. She has an aluminum radiator, 255/45/ZR17 Nitto Tires. She has been lowered roughly 1.5 inches. I plan on repainting and redoing all bushings and replacing shocks in the next few weeks. I hope this is posted in the right area or what ever, if not oh well. Peace, Robert.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I replaced the Cobra RR Hood with a factory stock hood, my intake does not need the 4inch cowl, and now I can see soo much more. I also forgot to add I have a MSD coil and Mac Shorty headers. I will try to upload somemore pics of the red dragon in a my next posts. I am going to the 1/4 mile track in the next week and I will also post my time slip and dyno results.

Went to get some breakfast this morning at 5am, and pulled up to a light next to a brand new v10 viper. Figuring this would be my first race in my newly purchased car...yeah......gave him some throttle, nothing crazy...just a taste.....light turns green and i get nothing from him.....what a puss.....what a let down....viper versus cobra...the battle of the snakes.....oh well......

I need to paint her though, she has some oxydation from the sun and elements on the roof and trunk. I replaced the hood and its laser red while my car is rio red. It had some god awful 4 inch cobra rr cowl hood, with a stock cobra intake. Im the kinda guy that will use a cowl hood only if the intake warrants using it. So I traded my fiberglass cobra rr hood to a guy for a stock hood, he couldnt believe it. Anyone know a good wax, maby a 2 or 3 stage kit, that will remove the oxydation.
