Black 07 V6 Need Dual Exhaust Tips
Brand new to forums...Hi Guys. Just bought a 2007 V-6 (Quick 'enuf4me) Ponycar. Sent some pictures to the photo gallery if you wanna take a look-see. Yeah I opted for a stick with all the goodies (heated leather seats no less) I've always been a Mopar man, had '69 Chicken back in the day (I'm just about to hit 53 soon, sorry that's a Plymouth Roadrunner to all you young bucks. Anyway my 02 Sebring blew its tranny and the ONLY car out there that lit my candle for under 30 grand was this Steve McQueen special and I feel like I'm alive again! 210 horses is all I need to stay out of trouble...still catches third though!!
Only thing I'm really ticked at Ford about is not putting dual exhaust on this great car..Heck I spotted duals on a few family rice burners (namely Honda & Toyota...excuse me as I puke) Anywho, if any of you guys can recommend a nice sounding set-up (some sound really cheesy and some just plain wake the dead) but a deep mellow rumble would really fit the bill. Thanks "Greaser"

Thanks for the welcome. This site is amazing and I've got alot to learn about "Stangs. I checked out yours...its beautiful...no really-I mean it. Those gold strips on the hood and the cowl really make that car a stand out. I found some other V-6 owners here that really went the extra mile and posted video sites depicting their dual pipe conversion. Still if any other of you guys (or gals) can help steer this ol greasemonkey towards a sweet dual exhaust set-up I'd really be thankful. Also I don't want to void my factory 36 month warranty...I wonder if I add duals if I would encounter any hassle from Ford in the future? Well...peace! Cool nice ride, if you got the 4.0 V6 like I did mine came with dual manifolds and cats. So all I had to do to make it dual was cut the pipe just after the cats then I added a X-Pipe (mechanic made) then continued the dual pipes back with dual Magnaflow mufflers.
