Default 2006 GT

Just purchased a 2006 5 speed GT. This car is so cool. It's just like high school again. I've been into bikes and racing go karts for years (nearly 200 motorcycles). I still own several sportbikes and 5 race karts but this GT is starting to steal lots of time from them. Now for some tasteful mods. The CDC shaker scoop really has my interest.

Congrats. I like the old body style myself (mid eighties). However, when I sat in a new one, I got goose bumps, it was like having one foot in the sixties and one foot in today. They are awesome.

Welcome and have fun here.

I actually owned a 2004 GT but ended up giving it to one of my kids. It was a nice car. It didn't feel as quick as the 2006 and the chassis seemed far less rigid. I was actually looking for a supercharged 2004 GT but never found one clean enough so I bought the 2006. I must admit this car is pretty cool. It's not sportbike quick for sure but I'm enjoying the drive to my company each day now. I like american muscle cars. My wife is a BMW addict. She's had M3's and HP's over the last few years. She thinks Mustangs are crude in comparison. I have to stay american based since my companies manufacture batteries in the USA. My biggest customer is Interstate Battery.

Thanks, I'm already plotting to sell one of my 5 race karts to fund some mods to the GT. I've got so many toys that it even disgusts me.
