68 Coupe
New to the forum, and thought that I would introduce myself. My wife's (girlfriend at the time) first car of her own was a 2.3L, '83 Mustang LX. She sold that and owned a '69 Prosche 911T for a few months before she decided her dream car wasn't so dreamy (extreme repair costs). She traded it in on a '95 Cobra Mustang (bought by her in 1996). The Cobra is still her daily driver. We just purchased a '68 Mustang Coupe with a 302 and will be picking it up today. The body is nice and straight with no rust that I could find and only one small dent repair. This will be our project car, as it does require some interior work and I plan on installing a 600cfm, 4 barrel, Edelbrock carb. I'm sure that I will be posting here with questions in the future. I don't have any experience with working on classic Mustangs, but hopefully, I can learn as I do without too many expensive lessons. I do have some experience working on older carbureted vehicles as I am nearing the end of the restoration of a '58 Chevy pickup (my toy). I hope none of you will hold my Chevy ownership against me as I have an appreciation of all classic vehicles that I hope is shared by most of the people on this site.
