Default New and looking for some good advice.

Hey you guys, I'm new here and I've got my sights set on purchasing a black 06 Mustang GT within the next few weeks. It has everything I want in a car. V8/speed/mean look/power/power/...power : ) Also, not many people of my ethnicity drive around in a Mustang so that is a definite plus. I'm posting here for your guys' opinion on whether the GT is a good buy in terms of initial value/resale value/reliability/FUN FACTOR. I know that since this is a Mustang forum your opinions will be obviously a bit biased..but I am willing to listen to you guys since many of you own and drive the GT everyday : )

Welcome! Congrats on your purchase, or soon to be anyways. I know you'll enjoy being a mustang owner, it's a nice car.

If you have any specific questions, we have a lot of knowledgeable members in our 2005+ section that would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I just bought an '07 about a week ago, and I love it. Everywhere that I looked, '05s are still selling for only a couple of thousand less than what I gave for mine. I would say they hold their value very well. Just go buy it. You won't regret it.
