Looking to by stang.
Hey every one I am deployed over seas in Iraq. And will be home next March, I am thinking of buying some in the 1994-1998 Gt or Cobra. I like the cobra bacaus its 315 horse but GT is a lot cheaper all around price and insurance. Would it be easier to buy a GT and drop 3-4 grand on motor and susp? Any input will be great. Oh ya im an X rice burner. So dont hold that against me. THanks

RE: Looking to by stang.
You should definately get a fox body stang. I have owned a 97 GT and now own an 89 LX coupe and I am wayyy more pleased with the coupe. Except for the handling. It doent handle quite as good but it sounds way better and is a lot lighter with better responses to the mods. Ok im done now....

Hey dude, hurry home safely and get that stang!!! you can get a 345hp n/a crate motor for about 3500 bucks installed, a friend just did it and it is sooooo sick cause then you can beef it up more and all the internals are reliable. GL and hope that helps

Thanks for all your input I also like the fox body alot. My best friend has a 89 gt and runs in the 12's all day. I dont like the interior that much. I am leaning towards a GT so I can put more money in the motor. What kind of stuff would I have to do to get a 95 gt in the high 12's to low13's. I live in an area were emmisions are not a problem. Thanks
