1998 Mustang Gt supercharger questions!!!

hello everyone.. i have a 1998 saleen s281 and wanted to put a supercharger with 4 lbs of boost on it.. will this blow up my engine?? does anyone have a 1996-1998 gt supercharged and did ur engine blow or do u have any problems.. thanks
