new to the blue oval

I have been a diehard GM fan of late and just earlier this year sold my Lt4 transam. Well I just bought a Mustang (never thought that would happen), but a good deal is a good deal. I picked up a 1994 yellow GT convertible. Auto, leather, cd player, and full power options with 125k on it. Receipts for new top and tranny in the last 6 months. All this for just over $2,000.00! I had to get it. I look forward to trying my hand at modding the 5.0. Can someone guide me where to look for performance on this? My goal is pretty modest. I'd like to get it to go 12.7-13.0 in the quarter on motor. Maybe add some nitrous if I need more. But again, I have no idea. Daily driver, so NO huge stall plans.
