i only paid 7600 for my 98 GT....and i got some nice mods with it. im not one for buying an already done car, but i found one with the basic mods you'd want to do like headers and flowmasters, but the drivetrain mods turned me on the most. brand new racing tranny gears and shifter? plus headers ignition and CAI? that's a few grand in free mods. but leaves plenty of room for me to customize, im on a budget, so i thought why not? it's not like i wouldnt put headers on it anyways. might as well get em for free. you can find stangs so much cheaper. try a local auction. you can search online for local auctions.... just type in like say for examplevirginia auto auctions, like i would cuz i live in VA. i dontknow where in canada you live but im sire they have auctions there.

Don't do it. -- "Salvage" should tell you something. It means it takes more $ to fix than what the car is worth --- that's what it means to the ins. companies. Probably sub-frame misalignment.....it's just not worth the agavation when you KNOW for a fact that there is a whole sea of mustangs out there.

Don't do cause you "want it now", discipline will get you something ALOT better.
