I finally got clearance from the wifey to get a toy so I've decided on getting a Mustang, hopefully 89-93 GT/LX. Looks like there's a ton of great info on the boards here and I'm looking forward to the project. Should be fun, but of course it comes with a budget. I've got about $4k to work with so I'm looking into either getting something in decent shape or get a cheap beater I can build up. We'll see what happens.......

Welcome! I'm new here, too! I was the nice wife and told my husband about our mustang and he was all for it. He used to have an '89 5.0, and I, a '95 Trans Am. Then we were going to be having a child, so like always, the car goes - Mine. He had already gotten rid of his 4 yrs before and I never heard the end of it. I figured that if he got another one, as much as I wanted another TA, I could at least drive something with some ***** and that sounded good. So here we are, on a budget like yourself but with an already purchased 69 Mustang Grande. Good luck to you!
