New member, new owner, let the modding begin!

Hey everyone, Andrew here. Just bought a 1997 Mustang GT 5 speed with 77,000 miles on it. It's completely stock and begging for me to treat it right (previous owner was boring!). I'm still new so I'm looking around at some smaller mods to do to get start and learn my car a little more. I definitely want to do something with the exhaust, I'd like to get a K&N FIPK, a short shifter seems to be a fairly simple and rewarding mod. That's just a few things that are easier that I can do now, I'll definitely be looking into doing more as time goes on. I guess my first priority is to fix up a few things on the car. The car runs great with the exception of the dreaded radiator light that I've read about. I'll probably just end up replacing the reservoir on that and be done with it. I also need to replace the driver side headlight because it's old and yellowed now. The previous owner was in a small accident, only enough to dent the bumper and break the right side headlight apparently, so that one is already replaced. I can't decide if I want to just get another basic ford lens or if I want to actually upgrade the headlights. Also, the passenger side mirror needs to be replaced. The mirror itself and the mechanical parts inside are broken so the whole thing just needs to be replaced. Other than that I want to upgrade the stock head unit and rip out the dinosaur 10 disc changer that this kid put in here with a newer head unit that I can plug my iPod into. Just a few small things, the car is in great shape overall.

Alright, well that's my official intro. A bit long, I know, but I'm loving my car so far and can't wait to get involved in the community and start working on my car. See you all around the board.

I'll go ahead and add this though it's not much.

Just your basic 97 GT right now. I'll get some better pics once I actually give it a good wash and start doing things with it.
