Newbie... fox body
Hey all you stang lovers... I'm shawn and I just bought my first stang for 4grand last may06.
The car is comming off the road in a week and I'm looking to build her up.
Future plans are as follows:
Build her up so I can race track, drag and drift.
Possible goodies
AIR RIDE SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGIES
FRAME WORK: NEED TO BE BULLIT PROOF!@!! capable of handling 1200+ rwhp suggestions?
TWIN TURBO company suggestion? rear mounted turbo's?
BODY KIT... I'm thinking the GT kit is good enough but if you know of one better...
Motor: already
306 bore, B303 cam, ported and polished heads but they are cast and I want forged
70mm edelbrock throttle body, spacer, MAS, K&N filter and I'm not sure what else.
5spd with hurst short throw and hurst hammer grip
CLUTCH: I bought a centerforce Dual friction kit and have yet to get a flywheel and throwout bearing retainer
I'd like to finish the stroke kit and make her a 347ci
Honestly I bought the car this way and she has a ram air hood but it isn't functional yet as I cant seem to track down the air box that directs it from the hood to the filter.
any and all help is appreciated as I'm mechanically inclined and this is my baby and I intend to keep her.
