Hi, I'm new to the group. I recently brought home a left over '06 GT in arrest-me red and black leather interior. About four years ago, I owned a '99 with a six and 5-speed. The '99 was a daily driver too, however compared to the '06 GT, it well...truck like by comparison. The new GT's power, sound, handeling and general aura puts it light years ahead of the older fox body Mustangs and all other pony cars of yore. I intend to use this GT as a daily driver on my 120 mi. round trip commute to and from work. It's shod with 235-50x18 BF Goodrich TA KDWS m&s tires. If anyone reading this is an unfortunate denision of the snow belt as I am and has had experience with GTs and winter driving, I would greatly appreciate your opinion. Otherwise, wish me luck! Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I was 15 when the 1964 1/2 Mustang was unvealed and was I absolutely enthralled with the car and later wanted a GT 350 so bad, it was all this pimple faced, car nut teen thought about. Well, my face finally cleared up but I guess some things never change...and some people never grow up. Cheers, brothers and sisters!
