new guy on the block
hello everyone...my name is pete and i live in nj...
i just traded my stock '96 jetta gls(was/is a vw guy) for a '87 gt w/ t tops
here are the specs:
120k mile 302
cobra intake mani
mac cai
e cam
p&p heads
pro products 65mm tb
underdrive pullies
removed smog pump and a/c
msd cap and rotor
ford racing ignition wires
3" offroad h pipe
3" flows dumped after axle
king cobra clutch
3.73's
ford racing lowering springs w/ unknown shocks
upr short shifter w/ ****
saleen wing
clear headlights and turns
lx tails
15" prime 5spokes w/ nankook dragradials(rear) and unknown fronts
the car is running VERY rich...but i guess that is due to it being speed density and b/c of the cam...the heater core leaks, so i just bypassed it...so she needs some work, but not too bad...
i was curious: what is the adv. running temperature while idleing and while driving? (the stock temp gauge is off and i just installed a cheap sunpro mech gauge for now)
i'll try to post pics when i take them...
