Default Hello new around here

Hello.

My names Ben I am from Baltimore. I recently bought a 97 cobra convertible. I also have a 98 V6 coupe which is my wife's car. I just got the cobra and I am here to kind of figure out what I want to do to the car and what order to do it in. I think I will make a post over in the tire section because that's the first thing i really need to do to the car. I heard you can fit 315/35/17 in the rear. Is that true ? I think basically this is going to be my all round fun car. I will see some track time but mostly just a cruiser. I plan on doing at least the basics, intake, exhuast, pullies, tuner, ect.

you'd probably want around 315/35ZR18...315/30-315/40 should be fine too...there's limited tire choices at that size though

I am having a hard time finding rims in 18x10.5. I really love the look of the 2000 cobra R rims, I thought they only came in 18's but I found them in 17's either way the widest I can find them is 9.5. Not sure what I want to do now. I am kind of leaning toward the 03-04 cobra wheels. I found a couple companys have them in 17x10.5. I guess i could also go with the 2000 cobra R's in either the 17x9.5 or 18x9.5 and just get the widest tire that will fit a 9.5 inch wide rim.
