im lookin into getting myself a car, somewhere in the years of 87-93 5.0 mustang.....
i just love the stangs in those years..... just lookin for some advice really or pros and cons....

my plan is to build something sporty because lots of my friends have little ricers and i wanna go play with them haha and i know 'stangs are up to it being they have factory 4linked rear ends mmmmmmmmmmm... and lots of other goodies

i dont wanna go too crazy on motor mods...no NOS and no super chargers

prolly just gears, cam & other engine internals, carb, shocks (coilovers perhaps???), wheels/tires, headers, exhaust, sway bars

You need to buy a book and read it, Mustang Performanc Handbook, by William R Mathis.


As far as year, get 91+.



As far as mods, you should build a strocker.

thanks..... there is so much on mustangs i didnt know...

like 2.3 turbo mustangs? never knew those existed....

my friend took me in his 99? (i think) cobra and its supercharged with like an 8 lb pulley on it and holy cow that was WAY fun haha

Good choice. Can't go wrong with a Fox Body Stang. You can do so much with those. Especially the notch backs. They're so light. Welcome.
