87-93 paint color question
 

Hey guys,

My friend had a 1987 Mustang GT at one point with the two tone colors, blue on top gray on the bottom. I was wondering what all of the different values of blue and gray there were as a combination.

I have tried google search but it has uncovered a varied amount of dark to light blues as well as grays.

The one I'm after isn't really the light blue ive been seeing or the dark blue, but its like a murky grayish dull blue (if that makes any sense lol ) color for the top, and a light to mid gray color for the bottom

if you got pics or any other info to help me out lemme know, thanks!


P.S. i have an 87 iroc-z camaro (no hard feelings right :D), and am planning a color scheme with those colors, is why i am asking

The best thing you can do is visit a automotive paint supply. They can show you what colors were manufactured for the years you are interested in. I just repainted mine, and used the original Strawberry Metallic, but used a different silver to match my wheels, that had to mixed to order. Keep in mind, it will be very difficult to choose a color for a car based on a paint chip. Good luck, and welcome to the board.
