First time Mustang owner, bought mine over the weekend, 2007 V6 automatic. Told my wife I bought it for her, haha. She loves it too, good thing we have similar taste. Something about me, I live in Kansas, work at a transmission parts store, play softball, and if you want to know more just ask. Lets see if I uploaded this right. This is my new stang.

Thanks Wingman, mine hasn't drove "hers" yet either. She had shoulder surgery on Nov. 9th, it might be a few more weeks. Although she keep telling me that she will drive our truck, and I can keep the Mustang.

Wingman--I traded my 07 V6 today for a 07 GT. It looks just like yours--at least from the outside! (no scoop!)
My question is--I was afraid of getting black. How do you keep it so spotless. How much time does it take, and what do you use? My salesman warned me about "swirl" marks from auto car washes

To keep it clean I always garage it and I don't drive in the rain or snow. I use Maguire's NXT spray wax and NXT Detailer for touchups.
I take my car to a detailer to wash in the cold weather and wash it myself when its warm out. After I wash my car, which is seldom, I keep it dusted off with a California duster. I use one California duster for the body and another one for the wheels (I don't want brake dust scratching the body) I even have a small California duster for the interior. It only takes a little time to keep it dusted. I do it after every drive. As you probably guessed its not a daily driver, unless its not raining that is.
A black car needs a lot of attention but using the California duster makes it much easier and faster and it's worth it when I take it out for a little cruise and get the stares and waves.
Good luck with yours.
