new member w/ 65 stang
Hey, I just signed up today. I have a 1965 Mustang Coupe with a 289. I'm building my engine with a 4v Edelbrock carb and intake, MSD ignition system, Comp Cams valvetrain, and some forged aluminum pistons. It's currently got 1" front and 7/8" rear sway bars, 620lb, 1" drop springs in front, KYB gas-a-just shocks, 2 1/4" MagnaFlow dual exhaust, Shelby fiberglass racing apron, hoodscoop, and sidescoops, chin spoiler, and 15x7 Magnum 500's.

Beautiful car. I have a 65 coupe myself and am a new member as well. My car was originally a I-6 car but now sports a warmed over 302 with Crane cam, Edelbrock Torquer intake, MSD ignition, long tube headers(Hooker I think), Edelbrock 650cfm carb., gt-350 fiberglass hood scoop, subframe connectors, and Lakewood traction bars. I am now in the process of saving money for a new front end and a new rear end for my baby. It was not converted to a complete v-8 status. Am now going to correct that. ( Trashed my stock 7.5 in. rear during a car show here in Oklahoma during a competition burn-out contest!) I won though! No-one could touch me! Couldnt see the car through all the smoke! Wish I had a video of it! Now have a 7.5 in. rear from a 61 Falcon in it till I get it back on the road. Good luck with her and see you on the Classic section.
