New member, older ride
Hi there. I'm a new member. I'm looking foreward to getting information that will lead to a good restoration/modification of my '73, which is the same vintage as me.

As it sits:
73 Mach 1
351C 4V 'Q' code, Boss block, open chamber heads
C6 Trans
Detroit locker rear end
Goals:
450 + hp
450 + torque
6 speed manual
front and rear oversized discs with real stopping power
rims and tires to accomodate above
engine-out restore and repaint. I'd be dreaming if i said i coud manage a complete teardown and restoration
high performance steering (rack and ponion available?)
very high performance suspension front and rear - if it can't go around corners, i'm not interested
HID headlights and foglights. LED lighting at the rear and on the inside
Mild to medium sound system. No need to go crazy.
Interior replaced with black components and some nice seats
And of course, since i'm just starting out on this long journey, I have no CLUE as to where to begin, what works, whats crap, etc. etc. etc. If anyone has any wosdom to impart, I'm allllll ears.
Cheers!
