1st Time Mustang Owner
Hi folks!
I'm a first timer with anything related to Mustangs, but after looking for a while at some new cars and trading up from my 2002 Saturn SC2, I bought myself a 2007 Mustang GT.
I'm really happy with the car so far, even though I've only driven it home from the dealership, and let my father, who used to own a 1967 Mustang, and my mother, who loves Mustangs PERIOD, drive it.
I am a gearhead at heart, but bear no particular brand favorite (with the exception of Saturn, but that's my own personal beef), as I have a 1974 Chevrolet Corvette that I'm restoring, a 1967 Jaguar E-Type (also in the process of restoring), and also have a 2002 Harley Davidson F150 for hauling stuff (or people).
I can't wait for the possibilities that will be available in a short time for the '07 models, and hope to do some small improvements to the car over time to get even more of a response out of what I'm sure is going to be one of the Musclecar Generation 2.0.

Welcome to the hood, and enjoy the new ride, its only addictive from here on out. And restoring an e-type, you sir are a sucker for punishment...lol Been there we did a machanical restoration for a guy once, that was all sorts of fun, little things like all 47 thousand hoses on the motor, thats the one that sticks out most in my mind. Its ok though I have an affinity for the british beasts as well.

Well, believe it or not, the '74 Vette has more hoses to deal with than the '67 Jaguar. Too many vacuum lines for the headlights, the windshield wipers door that's vacuum activated...
The E-Type seems to have fuses EVERYWHERE for every little thing, and anyone who's worked with Lucas wiring knows that the Prince of Darkness lives in those harnesses.
At any rate, I will be glad to post pics, as soon as the weather lets up enough for me to take pictures (the rain started last night and has been off and on throughout the day today, keeping me from taking good shots. If the weather's good tomorrow, the Pony car will get its picture taken.

Ok...I said I'd post pics...Here we go.
I'm thinking about adding a hood scoop and some striping similar to the Boss 302 stripes that Galpin Ford did for their SEMA Mustang...
