Default 2nd mustang... new member

I just wanted to drop a line... I am new to the forums and this is my second mustang. My first one was a 88 conv. 4 banger that I beat the **** out of daily until I wrecked it (someone pulled out in front of me). So 5 years later I bought another one (I bought it in august of '05) and have been restoring it ever since. I told a buddy of mine who is a mustang fox body guru that I wanted a LX hatch 5.0 that needed work, (I wanted to paint it yellow and put chrome cobra wheels on it... bleh!!!) So anyways in august 2005 he found me a 1991 5.0 LX notch that kinda caught my eye (it had been wrecked on the front end). Paint was a horrid silver and primer color with many dents and scratches it had a nasty blue interior and the wheels were 3 spoke 16 inch hideous things. I talked to the guy and ended up giving 1800 for it. I got it home and started making plans. found some new wheels to ride on... 10 hole 15's and started pulling her apart. As it turns out, when I removed the front bumper, attached to the radiator support were two tags I was like, cool I have the paint code right here, I looked at it and it said "South Caorilina Police Special Grey." I had bought a SSP car. I was misled because the jack leg that owned it before me had swaped out the 160 speedo for a 140. So I started with the bolt on performace mods, I did a full accel ignition (module, wires, cap, rotor, coil) and then did a full intake set up (cobra intake, 24lb accel injectors, edlebrock 70mm tb, bbk chrome intake, granatelli MAF for 24 lb injectors that didnt work, bbk adjustable FPR) while I had everything pulled apart I noticed that the car had a broke head bolt on the pass side right in the middle next to the exhaust manifold. So I pulled that head off trying to get it out and had no luck (broke a reverse drill bit), so I put a new gasket on it and put it back together and let it ride (its my excuse to rebuild the motor to a 331 when it finally gives up). I then did the exhaust, or partially it already had flowmasters on it with turn downs and I put in BBK shorty equal tube length headers. I did a FULL replacement on all motor sensors, (TPS to Oxygen) and started her up. It ran well and I was very happy. I still had the front fenders and bumper off (like I said the car had collision damage) so I took it down the road (I live way out in the country). I wasnt happy with the accelleration so I took out the factory 3.08 and did a 3.73 conversion. Last april I was in Charlotte at the auto fair and I found a set of 16" LX pony wheels with no tires for 25 dollars... needless to say I bought them. I just had the car repainted to a metallic silver and put on the ponys with new tires. I have about 3500 miles on the motor since I did all the modifications to it and it still kicks like a champ. I am in the process of doing the interior now. I am doing it all in black. I just finished the headliner and all the panels. Now I have to get the seats done and my girl is giving me the black carpet for christmas. Only problem is the seats are from what I can tell 96 front seats and 91 rear seat so I guess I will use them and just have them redone in black. I did the armrest delete plate and the hurst shifter with the shifter plate and boot (I like the old school look). So its not a daily driver, I drive a 96 cavalier z24 daily (good gas mileage) Well thats my story... the end... ohh if anyone has a 160 speedo please let me know.. also has anyone else had bad luck out of the grantelli MAF's?
