Default New Guy from Virginia

Hey what's up?!? Just registered here, and just bought a 2000 GT Coupe...I'm formerly a Grand Prix owner, and the change from FWD V6 to RWD V8 is amazing...I'm glad I made the switch to the Mustang side, and don't regret it one bit...although I catch too much hell from my friends on the GM side...no big deal. Just wanted to stop in and say hello and I'm looking forward to modding and learning more about the Mustang.

Dave.

LOL, thanks...I would love to think it would be very easy to stomp some of their GM's....most of them are running GTP's and Regal GS's that are doing anywhere between low to mid 12's, cammed, intercooled, etc...some doing high 11's with a ton of money invested (not bad for a 4 door grocery getter) It's gonna take some work...but for now, I"m just happy to have a V8 RWD....I'm not really shooting for anything better than 13's...but if it happens that I get into the 12's after some good modding and an empty wallet, then I'll take it all day long!!!!

I had considered the GTO, but for what it's worth, I hate the body style, and if I was looking to go into that kind of engine, it would have been a WS-6 any day of the week. I've always loved the look and sound of the GT though, so here I am after all is said and done.
