My mid-life crisis!!!
Well Hi all!!! New here, though I have done a few posts here and there. I have not formally introduced myself.
My name is Mark, I am 42 andI think I am going through a mid-life crisis thing!!!!
Here are the current specs. on the car I just bought:
1990 GT hatchback. No pics yet. [&:]
Booth Arons built short block with offset crank bored .30 over and a Mellings oil pump and screen. Keith Black #116 pistons, comp cams solid lifter #31-609-s. Heddman 1.75 long tube headers with 3" pipe into Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers. World Castings Windsor heads with Trick flow push rods, Harland Sharp rockers 1.6:1 ratio. Trick Flow "R" series upper and lower with a Edelbrock 75mm TB and EGR plate. C&L 76mm MAF with a cast air inlet tube. FMS 24# injectors with an adjustable /fp regulator. FMS AC eliminator bracket and a high flow water pump. MSD 6AL module, MSD cap and 9mm FMS wires. auto Meter 5" monster tach w/ memory and shift light.Paddle clutch installed, Pro 5.0 shifter needing "another" T-5 W/C tranny! Weld drag lite 15" wheels with M/T ET street slicks 26X10.5 inch. FMS 4.10:1 gears posi.
Currently up on jack stands awaiting a tranny. Sucks not having 3nd gear.
You should have seen the look on the wifes face the day I hauled it home!!!! The expression she had when I fired it up to back it off the trailer was priceless!!! Oh, and the neighbors too!!!!!
Well, you will see me around in many different areas learning all I can about how to get this car faster yet.
