FNG here... New to the Mustang scene...
Justaquired a 1967 Mustang Coupe... Had actually owned a 1965 for a few weeks a few months back, but as soon as I got it, I was approached with the 'ole, "Offer I could not refuse!"
Had an opportunity to trade one of my bikes (I build them) for the '67 + cash. Body is in about 90% condition, interior the same, with just slight rips in the front seats. Engine is a rebuilt 302, approx. 5,000 miles on it,w/ stock trans. Everything is pretty stock and as I said, in really good condition.
I plan on cleaning the whole car and really sprucing her up! First and foremost she will be a strong runner. Fully chromed and decked out engine, Magna Flow exhaust, new wheels (widening the rear tire slightly) updated interior w/ such updates as a B&M Megashifter but keeping the classic feel, all followed up with a simple paint job and chrome accents.
I have been involved with other forums in the past and have found them excellent opportunities to learn. I look forward to the same thing here...
See ya around!
