That would be wheel-hop. It's common with IRS, especially 99 & 01.
When you feel it hop like that, you need to lay off the gas or you could break a half-shaft.

I did some burnouts to see how BadSally handled...rear end jumped all over the place! She hopped up and down like crazy, I think I need some serious weight back there.

Hey Phirantes,
My dad had a 99 LE vert. Performance Red, black top. I loved the interior. If I can remember right, black leather, silver insert panels. and the guage cluster. I just turned 16 at that time and I remember cruizing just about every weekend night w/ it and my freinds. He worked for Ford in Dearborn, so he didnt mind about it getting beat on . It was his company car. Many great memorys in that car...

I guess that settles it...I'm keeping her. Nice to meet you Phirantes, and good to know someone else with a LE. I checked out your pics...and mine is EXACTLY the same! And you're right, I haven't seen any other LE's running around. My first '99 was a 35th, but not the LE, so I know what you're talking about now. We're registering the GT like you suggested.
I only did one real burn-out to see what would happen, and yeah, I need to back off a bit. I just wanted to see what she'd do.
I let my German friend drive it today. He grew up driving on the Audabon, and he just LOVES this car!! He took turns at speeds I'd never dare, and she didn't break or slide or nuthin. It was awesome. Wanna know what your car can do? Let a German drive it!
