Hi, everyone
New to this forum, not new to cars.
Bought an '88 LX 5.0 HB just after this past New Years. It's scarlet red, 5 speed, 87,000 documented original miles, all original - paint, panels, uphostery, have original window sticker, all service records from new, etc. A little old lady's car - really - that was well cared for. Put a tune up on it, valve cover gaskets, and a good 3-step Meguiar's shine. Absolutely love the car!
Really enjoy this forum and am looking forward to sharing my experiences and learning from yours.
I'm in my mid-50's and was a foreign car mechanic in the 60's and 70's, but have a soft spot in my heart for hot rods. Currently have a '56 Chevy 150 with a 454/TH400/12 bolt posi combo that I did a frame-off rebuild, all work by me, including mechanical, body work and paint, except the upholstery. Lean towards BMW's for daily drivers (I have a Z3, the wife has an X3).
Again, hello everyone. Glad to be here.
