I'm replacing my stock 16" tires with 18". The place I'm purchasing them at recommends a 235, but wouldn't a 245 look better? Are there potential rubbing problems?

I'm not up on the 05+ wheels, but I'm sure with the proper backspacing you can go with wider wheels and tires no prob.

welcome, if u are getting 18" mustang rims then a 245 will have no rubbing issues actually u can easily go up to a 265 up front and a 315 in the back, maybe a cm bigger but i know those will fit with no rubbing issues i would suggest bigger but i dont really know everything about the s197's since i have a new edge my first suggestion will def work with no probs tho
