flowmasteractually designed the 30 series for a v8 smallblock(ie 289)and the 40s for a larger engine (ie 350) so a 30 series, on his v6 at least, sounds great. it can almost be mistaken for a v8 at idle. if i wasn't so computer stupid i'de try to get a sound bite from the sixfor on here.( i have bassanis on it, but putting the flows on is just playing with some bolts)

I took the 60 series of flows off my wife's V6 stang, the darn things was just too heavy for the brackets that the muffler shop made. the whole exhaust kept on shifting around. I ended up replacing her entire exhaust from headers, to cats, to cat back.
But it did sound damn good at idle, and hella people did mistake her car for a V8, that was untill she revved above 2000rpms......<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">

For my car, I used mac which sounds really nice, especially when they are cold.
