Hello.....New owner and to the forum

I bought a '05 Convertible Mustang two weeks ago today. Been wanting one for 13 years and finally took the plung. Now I'm discovering that Ford isn't all that.

My top extender brackets have broken and Ford is not wanting to make it good sayingthey brokeby letting the top up and down going down the road. My car will not do that. It has to be in park with the break fully depressed to move the top. Therefore now I have a convertible......maybe not b/c it doesn't work and I've been told I'm looking at 4 to 6 thous. to fix it. Stay broken a while longer unless my attorney can shake them up.

your dealer just got "stuck on stupid". Recommend you take it to another dealer and tell the new dealer who ignorant your previous dealer was....bet, they'll take care of you...
