Default Newbie here, and I got qutesti

Hi everyone, I just bought a 95 Mustang Gt and I am looking for some pointers on how to start making it scream. I was beat down and left in the dust by an old scrap heap of a 93 Cobra on the freeway today. I know the guy personally and I would like to be able to challenge him to a rematch and be confident I would win. What should I do? Gears? Exhaust, Shift kit, Stall converter? Please help with any suggestions!

sorry jason but to pull on a cobra ur gonna need some kind of major power adder, like nitrous or asupercharger... NX makes good nitrous kits and people argue over vortech and procharger for superchargers... but if you want to start out get some 3:73 gears, some heads, bassani offroad x pipe, some flowmaster 40 series, but its gonna cost money for a gt to pull on a cobra

actually, the 93 cobra isn't rated that much higher in performance than your GT.

I'm sure with some bolt-ons you'd be able to hold your own with him and not have to mess with any major engine mods.

the sn95 cobra's are a differentstory though..

Just change out yer gears. If that doesnt work, go with a nice ZEXs kit. Best bang for the buck. And since you know him. Take it to the track.Thats where you get the most accurate races.
