I have a 66 coupe, Tahoe Turquoise with aqua interior, puke! It has extensive rust like most southeast stangs I have heard. I have installed a new rear quater panel, passenger side. Passenger side floor pan and have purchased both front fenders. I have alsoinstalled a new trunk floor. It has a 6 with a c4. A friend of mine has given me what I believe is a 302. I have looked for the casting number but it is not where it is supposed to be. I know it costs a lot to convert to a v8 but I already have the mounts and spindles. I would like to hear from anyone that has put an EFI 5.0 in ther stang. I thought about going this route, I know it is not concours but its a little bit more reliable than a carb I think. I looked on CJ pony parts at their restorations pages and I will have to do some serious body work. I an going to keep the car because it was my brothers and I can do most of the work myself. dont worry too much bout your interior being aqua color, you'll come to love it as i have with my paint color, couldnt stand it when i got the car now i would never change it. welcome!
