Default New to mustang forums

I have a 66 coupe, Tahoe Turquoise with aqua interior, puke! It has extensive rust like most southeast stangs I have heard. I have installed a new rear quater panel, passenger side. Passenger side floor pan and have purchased both front fenders. I have alsoinstalled a new trunk floor. It has a 6 with a c4. A friend of mine has given me what I believe is a 302. I have looked for the casting number but it is not where it is supposed to be. I know it costs a lot to convert to a v8 but I already have the mounts and spindles. I would like to hear from anyone that has put an EFI 5.0 in ther stang. I thought about going this route, I know it is not concours but its a little bit more reliable than a carb I think. I looked on CJ pony parts at their restorations pages and I will have to do some serious body work. I an going to keep the car because it was my brothers and I can do most of the work myself. Let me know if you have any helpful tips!

Come on over to the classic section. There are several people that have done EFI conversions to their classics. Do a search and you'll come up with all kinds of information.
