vt stage 1 install 98 saleen pi
hello all, this is my first post with months of reading everything. love the information here.i have a 98 saleen with tons of mods. being on maui, labor is major expensive and trusting someone is worse. I am installing vt stage 1 camshafts, no springs. was wondering if its ok to swap cams by removing the valve covers, c-clamping (heard the cam tool is junk)the cam sprocket not letting the timing chain drop of the crank sprocket, drop in the new cam, all marks lining up relative to the old one, etc. get the idea. there is a great article at stang net mustang forums under vt stg 1 n/a cams. was hoping someone has done it this way or could give me info. would it really be more benificial to remove the timing cover, chains, tensioners, etc.
