I just bought my first Mustang two weeks ago. I LOVE <IMG onclick="AddSmileyIcon'smileys/smiley4.gif'" alt="Big smile" src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">IT!!!!! It is a 1989 LX 5.0 T-5. Have several things to fix on it. I put new door handles, struts for the hatchback, new speedo cable &amp; sensor, new radio etc. I ran into a problem yesterday, that has my Dad and I stumped. <IMG onclick="AddSmileyIcon'smileys/smiley6.gif'" alt=Unhappy src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">When you insert a 15 amp fuse in fuse position #8, (Courtesy lights;Clock;Key Warning;Radio; Fuel Filler Door Release; Power Mirror) every thing works but the lights start flashing. The only way to get them to stop is to pull the fuse. Has anybody have any ideas how to fix this?</P>

it appears that you sar has had some type of alarm system on it. try and trace down any wire that are not factory and get rid of them. welcome to have you aboard.

Thanks Buzztang!! We located the old alarm system under the dash and inside the driver side kick panel. Pulled the fuse and everything seems to be O.K. <IMG onclick="AddSmileyIcon'smileys/smiley17.gif'" alt=Tongue src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">

k, not to change the sub. here, but how is it an lx with a hatch?

the made both hatchnack and notckbacks in the lx version, some 4 banger some 5.0's. all of the gt were hatchbacks execpt for the convertables. although i have a gt notch that looks sweet.
