Default New to the forums, and to Mustangs

Well, I just joined the forums here after recently purchasing an old Mustang. I've done some reading, but I've noticed that my car seems to have an oddity about it, though possibly caused by a clerical error.

First off, I'll tell you exactly what the title says it is: A 1979 Ford Mustang II. I know, the IIs weren't made in '79. It also has the fox body style of the '79 Mustang, and a 3.3L V6 engine. Overall, it runs pretty good, which is important because it's my only vehicle at the moment and I need it just to get back and forth to work.

I'm here largely to get advice on how to keep my 'classic' Mustang maintained, and since I plan on restoring it as a long-term project, learn what would be best for that.

Thanks ahead for any advice.
